Flatpack is currently a family of 3 bands.
Exmouth’s finest. Having played together in various guises since the ages 16 they found their formula and Apollo’s Arrows began.
Driving riffs, a sound you would assume would come from a 5 piece, not a 3 and a wonderful work ethic to match.
2011 was a big year for a band. Doing a series of weekenders, playing an evening slot at Bestival up against The Maccabees (& still filling the tent) 2012 is going to be a stonker, also doing sets at Southsea Fest and Good Weekend. The band was praised by the likes of Clash Magazine, This Is Fake DIY, The Whiteboard Project and Risk & Consequence.
This year is all about touring and the release of the debut album at the end of the year.

-Boxer-
Boxer are new to the fold.
Having released their debut work in early 2011. The band have finished Uni, relocated to Brighton and are currently working on their debut proper. Expect Malkmus style pop. Their first release under Flatpack is released in Spring 2012.

-POLIO-
Polio arrived in the world in late 2010. Formed from a previous endeavour, and a total, total rejuvenation musically the play uncompromising, zero bullshit punk rock.
Spending the latter half of 2011 getting as many shows as possible under their belt, the band had the pleasure of supporting Brontide, Danananakroyd, Drawings, our very own Apollo’s Arrows and a shedload more.
‘Pig Heart Boy’, the debut EP soon followed, along with more shows and a festival appearance in Southsea, where they not only blew the venue PA, but also made a lot of friends. Here is a tardy video of the day:
