Cheeky little EP teaser video from Apollo’s Arrows, made by the band themselves.

Checked out Burn The Fleet and Kerouac  at the Bargate Castle in Southampton, aptly renamed ‘Mosh Castle’ for one night only put on by the sweet dudes at Ejector Seat..  There is so much talent bandwise in Southampton at the moment, it’s a pleasure to be able to see these pretty much on my doorstep!

A snippet from the forthcoming Apollo’s Arrows EP due in Jan 2011!

Let me know what you think

Sunday was an awesome evening. Well awesome for most people, but seemingly not for Tumblr, because it had a mid-life crisis. And for those that are morose enough to watch the x-factor. shame on all of you.

Anyway, Apollo’s Arrows played Goblets to a reasonably sized crowd, and played a stormer.  Ed made sure to climb on chairs and amps, with a cheeky tap on the ceiling, while Alex sported a nice cap, and Mat, well he just hits the drums bloody hard and we love that.

If you missed out, you are forgiven, but come January 22nd, Flatpack is putting on it’s very first show at Hamptons and Apollo’s are headlining it to celebrate the release of ‘Young, Romantic Mannequins.’  More details on that really soon, the line up is coming together very nicely indeed.

All the other acts were splendid too, my personal highlight of the whole evening was Run, Walk! doing a wall of death and to tell the permanently annoying ‘talkers’ at the back to shut up. I loved that.  Run, Walk  have actually just dropped a free new EP, so you should finish reading this and go get it.

Cardinals are showing real promise, and Part Dinosaur were great too.

I pinched these photo’s from The Goat Captures so go and like that up on FB if you so desire. I vote you should.

This is creeping up soon, I’m jolly excited, never put on a show before show before, it could go well, it could go tits up! Either way there will be laughs to be consumed.Tickets on sale here: http://www.wegottickets.com/event/104494 Bands will have tickets on them from tomorrow, and they aren’t just any old tickets, they look quite cool. If you are Southampton centric and could re post this, that’d be great!
